Paula Watts is thrilled to be the new 8th grade Education Specialist at ECMS-G.
Paula was born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in the inner city. Her educational journey began at 107th Street School, proceeded to Samuel Gompers Middle School, and culminated at Alain Leroy Locke High School. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Cal State Dominguez Hills and later received her Master’s degree from the University of Phoenix. In addition to her degrees, she holds a Mild to Moderate Credential.
She devoted a decade of her professional life to being a School Administrative Assistant for LAUSD before transitioning into teaching. Her teaching experience spans over a decade, having served as an SDC teacher for 9 years and a Resource/Education Specialist for 2 years. Paula finds immense satisfaction in working within her community, driven by a desire to give back.
She anticipates forging meaningful relationships with both students and staff at ECMS-G. With an eagerness to collaborate with fellow teachers, Paula is fully committed to ensuring all students achieve their educational goals.
