Maddie Donatoni is the 9th Grade English Teacher at Environmental Charter High School – Gardena. Maddie has five years of experience teaching English, in both Los Angeles and Oakland, California.
Maddie is at ECS because she loves the collaborative, justice-focused community that ECS has built and is excited to continue to build that community with the incoming 9th grade Gardena students and families!
As a graduate of Stanford University, she earned a B.A. in History and then went on to earn a M.Ed from Loyola Marymount University. In her free time you can find Maddie crafting, reading, hiking, or enjoying the warm California weather. She loves science fiction and fantasy novels as well as reading any book recommendations from her students!
