Kennedy Hilario

Kennedy Hilario has held senior leadership roles in charter schools serving communities of color in California (Inglewood, Lawndale, East Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley) and two charter school in Massachusetts, where he helped grow a charter network from one to three schools and assisted in the management of the turnaround of a district school. Mr. Hilario is currently the CEO of ACE Charter Schools. Kennedy has also taught 3rd through 6th grade at the private school that he and his wife managed prior to joining the charter movement.

Prior to working in education, Kennedy worked for 12 years in the private sector. A lifelong learner, Kennedy has a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Florida, a B.S. in psychology from Biola University, a M.Ed. from Fielding Graduate University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Kennedy has lived in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, New York City, Miami, Houston, Chicago, Boston, Southern California and currently resides in Berkeley, California, with his wife and children.
