Julia Monterrosa has been the Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant of Environmental Charter School since 2022. In her role, Julia is dedicated to providing speech and language services to middle and high school students. Julia graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Communicative Disorders & Science along with her SLPA license. Julia is at ECS because she feels that being an SLPA is not only about making a positive difference in a student & life, it also includes learning, growing, and making an impact on the world around us. She believes that communication is the essence of human life and everyone deserves a voice. Julia is a native of the South Bay area. She enjoys fitness, especially strength training, going on walks with her dog, spending quality time with family/friends, and exploring new foods/restaurants. Last but not least, she is also a huge sports fan and her favorite team are the Dallas Cowboys!
