Itandehui Morales is the ELD Coordinator at Environmental Charter High School – Gardena. 

Her experiences teaching early literacy skills were the catalyst for her desire to work in Education. With over seven years in education, she previously taught with Teach for America, has worked with elementary-age students through the Americorps Jumpstart program as well as an Academic Advisor with the Early Academic Outreach program (EAOP) where she worked with high school students to support their higher education goals. She is excited to continue supporting students’ build skills that are essential for college preparation, particularly in communities like her own. 

Itandehui is pleased to be part of the Environmental Charter Schools team and an organization that really values its mission by continuing to improve the educational experience for students and their families. Itandehui graduated with a B.A English and a minor in Education from the University of CA – Irvine and obtained her M.A in Educational Policy and Administration from Loyola Marymount University.
