Britney Collins is the Humanities Instructional Coach at ECMSG. Previously, she served as the 6th grade Humanities teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. Britney brings nine years of experience, including both as a classroom teacher and instructional coach. Before returning to ECMS-G, she was the Instructional Dean for Equitas Academy.
Britney chose ECS because they truly place their students and staff first and because of the family atmosphere. Britney graduated from the University of La Verne in 2008 with her BA in English and again in 2011 with her MA in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Reading Instruction. Britney is an LA County native, growing up in Compton and Carson, and now resides in the south Bay Area. Outside of work, you can catch her hosting trivia in Hermosa Beach or yelling at the TV watching sports and playing fantasy football with her dog Riley by her side.
