Environmental Charter High School welcomed close to 700 local elementary and middle school students to its campus to its annual Earth Carnival on Friday, June 1, 2018. The campus was abuzz with excitement and curious wonder from the young visitors as ECHS students led creative games, activities and informative lessons about sustainable living, alternative energy, gardening and local foods. Visitors experienced our Green Ribbon campus through our living stream, chickens, green house, aquaponics, fruit tree forest, native and edible gardens and worm bins. A special thank you to our friends at CarMax for coming to volunteer at the event and to West Basin Municipal Water District for their sponsorship of Earth Carnival and ongoing support of ECS!
