On Friday, September 19, eight students from Environmental Charter High School will step in front of the microphone and tell true and very personal stories about themselves to a live audience, during Los Angeles’ First High School StorySLAM from The Moth.
The Moth High School StorySLAM brings the art and craft of personal storytelling to high school students. This education program originated in New York City. Environmental Charter High School is the first school outside of New York to hold the high school program. A trained Moth instructor and faculty advisors will coach the eight ECHS students in crafting compelling narratives, practicing performance techniques, and connecting as a team.
