ECMS-Inglewood – Truly magical things happen here! August witnessed the birth and gradual take-off of two baby Mourning Doves, a good omen of new potential, adventure, and soaring possibilities! The campus has put forth a grand harvest of summer produce. Tomatoes spill out of the raised beds, a dazzling array of flowers speckle the gardens in color, inviting an ensemble of pollinators. Peruvian purple corn towers above the still developing summer crops, while heaps of guavas, prickly-pears, pomegranates, bananas, and figs beg to be consumed. -Eddie’s Green Wisdom // words and photos by Eddie C.
