October 20, 2017

11th Annual Career Day at Environmental Charter High School
At ECHS, Career Day is a platform for inspiration, the exchange of ideas and sharing experiences. Community leaders and business professionals serve as presenters and workshop leaders as they share stories about the power of staying connected with our students. You are also invited to join us for a complimentary lunch where you can meet and exchange ideas with our students and network with other sustainably-minded professionals.
Take Action
Whether it’s organizing a hike to local parks for other students in their community or sharing about social justice issues with elected officials, ECS students are change makers. Great things are accomplished when we are compelled to organize our words and thoughts around a definitive action. At ECS, we believe our students are innovators, leaders and a positive force in their communities when they take action.
Share your story!
Presented by our ECS School to Career Initiative, this year’s Career Day theme is Take Action and invites community leaders to share their #TakeAction life lessons and career experiences with our high school youth while also allowing our students to explore career fields and connect to mentors and leaders.
Sharing stories with our students!
Last year’s Career Day speakers are represented from Toyota Motor Sales, Dogeared Jewelry, The Engineer Factory, AAA Flag & Banner, EarthShare CA, Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), Heal the Bay, National Park Service, Falcon Waterfree Technologies, EmpowHER Institute, and many more! For sponsorship opportunities contact Julie Vo.
Speaker sign-ups are now closed. If you would like to attend our 11th Annual Career Day, at ECHS, as a guest please contact Julie Vo.
