Amy graduated from Pepperdine University with a BS in Business Administration. She worked for 12 years at Arthur Andersen in Los Angeles and specialized in IT Strategies, ERP Implementations, and Change Management. She has consumer products, retail, high tech, and entertainment industry experience.
In 2002, Amy started with Strategic Vision Consulting, a boutique IT and Management Consulting firm specializing in the entertainment industry. Her clients included Fox, Paramount, Sony, Warner Brothers, and Electronic Arts. In 2008, along with her two partners, she sold the company to Cognizant Technologies, a large US based Indian offshore company. As a AVP at Cognizant, she led worldwide teams and oversaw IT Application support and Business Process outsourcing projects.
In 2011, Amy left Cognizant and completed a year of travel, learning, and volunteering around the world. Amy visited many countries including Antarctica, Argentina, Uruguay, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Portugal and Spain. In 2013, she completed her Masters in Social Entrepreneurship, and is now teaching an undergraduate business course entitled Servant Leadership at Pepperdine University.
She previously served on the boards of BookEnds and Social Venture Partners. She has become a passionate ambassador for lowering the achievement gap and making the environment healthier and safer for our children. Her philosophy is that everyday is an opportunity to change someone’s life and go make a difference.
