As you know, one of our priorities this year is to Confront anti-Blackness and Racism in our schools and the world. We recognize that anti-Asian hate is part of a long history of targeted systemic racism in our country towards Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) communities. As an organization,ECS condemns all acts of racism (and the structures and systems that perpetuate exclusion and violence) that tears at the fibers of our community. ECS is committed to continuing this work for years to come and to make space for all of our stakeholders.
