ECHS – a food forest!

Environmental Charter High School – a food forest! The guavas tease passersby as countless fruits ripen overhead, creating a sweet suspense of an incoming harvest. Massive wild sunflowers towered well over 10ft, harboring an ecosystem of bugs and birds within the sunny canopies. Countless figs continue to ripen, although one must contend with the emerald-like Fig beetles to get at the sweet treats within the branches! Dragon fruits are emerging, in a dramatic display of fireballs from a dragon’s breath. The grape orchards yield a spectacular show of fruit, hanging down great clusters beckoning one to pick!
