Sarah Jamieson is the Sr. Human Resources and Talent Manager at Environmental Charter Schools. Sarah has 5 years of experience in nonprofit Fund Development. Previously, she was the Vice President of Fund Development for United Way of Stanislaus County.
Sarah is at ECS because she is compelled by the mission and vision of ECS and highly impressed with the academic outcomes. Her career desire is to serve and after seeing the educational inequities experienced by those she met while working in the nonprofit sector, she wanted to examine the root of the problem and understand the preventive measures. For these reasons, she is drawn to ECS and its commitment to educationally underserved communities.
Sarah came to ECS through the Broad Residency in Urban Education, through which she is pursuing a Masters in Educational Leadership. She is a graduate of California State University Stanislaus and holds a B.A. in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration. Sarah is a native of Modesto, California. In her free time Sarah stays involved with politics, propagates succulents and travels whenever possible.
