Shawn Hua has been at ECS since 2014 and currently teaches 10th grade World History and AP European History at ECHS.
Hua likes ECHS, because he gets the opportunity to teach in the same community he grew up in.
Hua is a graduate of California State University of Long Beach (CSULB) and holds a B.A. in History. He also earned his M.A. in Education from Pepperdine University.
Hua enjoys reading the works of Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Haruki Mirakami and enjoys eating banh xeo, bandeja paisa, bibim naengmyeon, and sushi. His favorite movies are Love Jones and City of God.
