Sarah Jamieson is the Director of Human Resources at Environmental Charter Schools. Sarah’s previous experience was in nonprofit Fund Development. Prior to joining ECS, she was the Vice President of Fund Development for United Way of Stanislaus County.
Sarah is at ECS because she is compelled by the mission and vision of ECS and is committed to educational equity. Her career desire is to serve and after seeing the educational inequities experienced by those she met while working in the nonprofit sector, she wanted to examine the root of the problem and understand the preventive measures. For these reasons, she is drawn to ECS and its commitment to our communities. Sarah came to ECS by way of the Broad Residency in Urban Education, through which she earned a Masters in Educational Leadership.
She is a graduate of California State University Stanislaus and holds a B.A. in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration. Sarah is a native of northern California and in her free time, she stays busy with her family, drinks as much coffee as possible, and loves live music.
