Michelle Bradford joined Environmental Charter Schools in August 2017 as the 8th-grade History teacher at ECMS-Gardena. Michelle was drawn to ECS because of our commitment to the environment and social justice which was evident from the moment she engages with ECS students, staff, and leadership. From the first time she visited the ECMS-Gardena campus, she knew she wanted to become a part of the team. Michelle comes to ECS with over 17 years of teaching experience. She has taught in grades 2-8 and has spent the last 10 years teaching middle school. She has a passion for helping students grow both socially and academically.
Michelle loves showing students just how interesting history can be! Michelle is a graduate of CSU Los Angeles, with a B.A. in Liberal Studies. In her spare time, she loves concerts, taking walks, biking, swimming, snowboarding, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
