Katie Cristales is the School Psychologist at Environmental Charter Schools since the 2019-2020 school year. Previously, she was a 6th and 7th grade math and science teacher at the ECMS Gardena and Inglewood locations.

Katie is at ECS because she believes in the organization’s vision to build a more equitable environment for students and its dedication to fostering youth leaders in sustainable practices. Katie is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and the California Association of School Psychologists (CASP).

Katie is a graduate of the University of Southern California and holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Psychology and Law. She completed her multi-subject teacher credential at California State University Northridge. She earned a Master’s in Educational Psychology and Educational Specialist Degree at Loyola Marymount University. Katie is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her family.
