Amy Johnson teaches Math Enrichment and AP Calculus. Amy is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher and also holds a GATE credential. A high school band teacher for eighteen years, Amy decided in 2011 to dust off her math credential and begin teaching her other favorite subject.
Amy is passionate about making a difference in students’ lives. She has been recognized by School on Wheels for her dedication to volunteer tutoring and for her fundraising efforts. Amy has twice been awarded Presidential Volunteer Service Award for her work in the community.
When not teaching or grading papers, Amy can often be found camping or hiking in the mountains.
