Green Ambassadors Institute: A Watershed Moment
On February 21, ECS Green Ambassadors Institute presented A Watershed Moment at Environmental Charter High School. Dozens of Los Angeles organizations and educators attended to connect and discuss ways to empower their students and youth to take action in their communities. Workshops addressed local + global water issues, watersheds, where we get our water, school gardens, LA River revitalization projects, international water rights movements, DIY rain barrels, and water wise gardening, among many other issues.
The Green Ambassadors Institute will resume on March 21st from 8am to 2pm with a hands-on field trip to the LA River. For more information, visit www.greenambassadors.org/watershed
