Univision highlights our partnership with EmpowHER to Develop Strong, Smart and Bold girls!

Univision 34 featured a segment on our partnership with EmpowHer, an all-girls personal development class offered at our middle schools.  We are so thankful to have a partner in EmpowHer. Their program provides our students–who are developing daily into their adult selves–with the opportunity to reflect, emote, grow and collaborate together in a safe space.  EmpowHer delivers the opportunity to hone invaluable life skills and enhanced self-awareness and self-confidence during a critical time of development.

Claudia Botero of Univision visited ECMS-Inglewood today to speak with our participating students and faculty of the EmpowHer girls education and mentorship program that runs a class on campus. Claudia interviewed the Executive Director of EmpowHer, Betty LaMarr, two EmpowHer students, EmpowHer teachers and ECMS's principal, Beth Bernstein-Yamashiro.
