Tinaya Adway is the English and History teacher at Environmental Charter Middle School – Inglewood. Tinaya’s key area of experience is middle school English, having taught 6th to 8th grades for seven years in Glendale, Arizona. Previously, she sharpened her skills within the Teach for America network which strives for academic excellence and equity for all students.
Tinaya is at ECMSI due to its proven growth model and investment into each student’s academic development. ECS strategically provides opportunities for students to be leaders within campus and beyond the school.
Tinaya is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara and holds a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Education. She has a M.Ed. from Grand Canyon University in Educational Administration and an M.Ed. from Arizona State University in Secondary English. Tinaya is a native of Los Angeles, California.
