Shanelle Criss-Paxton joined the ECMS-Inglewood team as the Parent & Community Liason in 2017. Shanelle proudly serves as a pathway between ECMS-I families, community members, students, and staff. Shanelle’s goal is to ensure a healthy, ongoing partnership between home and school, as well as students and peers. Shanelle is responsible for coordinating opportunities for positive socialization through school events, and enrichment programs.

Prior to working at ECMS-I, Shanelle worked at The Salvation Army, as a Youth Program Coordinator where she designed programming for you and was the Director of the summer camp program. She currently a volunteers for the Salvation Army, helping to serve hot meals to homeless families.

Shanelle is also the CEO of Ground Breaking Conservatory (GBC). GBC is a non-profit organization focusing on bringing performing and visual arts to inner city communities by providing classes & workshops for youth

Shanelle was drawn to ECS because of her passion to encourage strong bonds with families and schools. She believes that family involvement, interest, and support, are essential ingredients for optimal, well-rounded success.

Shanelle holds a BA in Human Services. Shanelle strives to laugh out loud, daily, to find something great in everyone she comes in contact with, to model a loving heart, and to live each day spiritually inspired, mentally motivated, and physically invigorated!
