Kevin Atmore is the Campus Support Lead at Environmental Charter High School – Gardena.

Kevin has seven years of experience in process development, project management, and team building. He has worked in various business sectors which helped him gain an understanding of how a project can be implemented successfully. In his most recent role with TradeRev, he piloted industry revolutionizing technology while building relationships with small businesses and local community leaders. He has also worked with CarMax to lead the founding of their new location, including the building of a successful team and implementation of a new concept to streamline and improve efficiencies in the customer experience nationwide.

Kevin is a proud graduate of Humboldt State University. He holds a B.A. in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Environmental and Natural Resource Planning. He also holds an A.A. in Behavioral Sciences from San Jose City College. While attending Humboldt State, he saw the lack of consciousness and drive towards preserving the Earth and environmentalism. As an avid outdoorsman, he believes that practicing sustainability is not only critical on an individual level but is important to teach in schools.

Kevin is at ECS because of its focus on sustainability and social justice and supports the ECS mission of bringing together environmentalism, social justice, and community together to initiate a dialogue to improve the well-being of students’ and on how to make our students and their futures better.

Kevin is a native of Hawthorne. In his free time, Kevin can be found creating works of art out of wood and getting his hands dirty in the garden. He loves to be outdoors especially when hiking, camping, and fishing.
