Emily Atmore is the Human Resources Generalist for Environmental Charter Schools. Emily loves the heart and soul of the ECS. She loves the passion and energy around creating a greener, more sustainable, community-driven world.
Emily feels like her mission in life is to give back. In college, Emily volunteered with TOUCCh “Tutor Outreach Uniting Communities for Change” to help migrant farmworker children in Watsonville, CA achieve their dreams of attending college. She also volunteered with the USO, as well as, multiple events for veterans, senior citizens, women leaders, and community clean up.
Emily has a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Jose State University with an emphasis on Behavioral Science with a minor in History. She also holds an aPHR certification through the Human Resources Certification Institute and is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Human Resources Management through the University of California, Los Angeles.
Emily is a native of the South Bay, but spent almost 10 years in Northern California. In her free time, she loves to try new coffee shops and to be outside adventuring. Her personal goal is to visit all of the National Parks!
