De’Angelo Scruggs is the Games and Movement Teacher at ECMS – Gardena since 2019. In his role, De’Angelo teaches the importance of physical education, the importance of daily exercise and introduces new games to ECMS students. De’Angelo worked as a substitute teacher with The Education Team for almost one year before joining ECMS.
De’Angelo is at ECMS because he wants to help mold the minds of the next generation and likes the approach that ECMS is taking compared to the traditional public school system. De’Angelo has a deep love for sports and most recently was a basketball coach with the YMCA.
De’Angelo is a graduate of Humboldt State University and holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. De’Angelo is a native of Los Angeles, CA and his favorite hobbies include watching sports, sports photography, and graphic design.
