Bri Berrios (they/them) is the 12th Grade College Prep Teacher at Environmental Charter School in Lawndale beginning in the 2021-2022 school year. They previously worked at another charter school as an English teacher, and also have experience as an environmental educator.  Bri is a proud non-binary and autistic educator and advocate for social justice who is specifically most interested in educational equity, anti-racism, the Neurodiversity Movement, and environmental justice. Their interest in the intersection of social and environmental justice is what drew Bri to ECS. 

Bri is a member of the Quest Scholars Network, and as a first-generation college graduate, has a particular interest in supporting students who will be the first in their families to attend college. They received their Bachelor’s of Arts in English from Pomona College and their Master’s of Arts in Education from Claremont Graduate University. Originally from a small town in Pennsylvania, Bri has lived in southern California since 2012. When they are not teaching, they enjoy camping with their Siberian Husky, watching stop motion animation, and playing Magic the Gathering.
